Rychlá fakta: The collection contains over 75,000 objects spanning 3,000 years of history, making it one of the largest arms and armor collections in the world. Visitors can see everything from Henry VIII's massive field armor to a real elephant armor crafted for a Mughal war elephant.
Zajímavosti: Few people realize you can handle real armor and weapons in the galleries, including trying on a helmet and lifting a genuine 17th-century sword. The Hall of Steel, a seven-story glass atrium, is lined with 3,000 individual pieces of armor and weapons arranged in dazzling floor-to-ceiling displays.
