Look up your favorite star's address online before your visit, because the street is over 2 miles long and walking the whole thing is exhausting.
Bend down to the star and photograph it from a low angle so that the terrazzo pink and brass stand out especially well.
It is best to avoid tourist carriages pulling groups, which block the view and cause congestion right around the stars.
Also visit the sidewalk next to the TCL Chinese Theatre, where the handprints and footprints of famous actors are set in concrete.
