Quick facts: The castle complex houses the world's oldest private armor collection from the 15th and 16th centuries. There is also an impressive art and curiosity collection of Archduke Ferdinand II.

Highlights: In the Spanish Hall, 27 life-sized portraits of knights and rulers line the walls. Especially fascinating is the Great Renaissance Castle with its splendid arcades and surrounding castle garden.
