Quick facts: Inside the hill of Balatonfured, a cave formed by thermal springs thousands of years ago lies hidden. Its entrance is located within a hospital, as the cave was discovered by chance in 1982 during foundation work.
Highlights: Inside, a stream of water at a constant 20 degrees Celsius flows between impressive stalactites that resemble a stone forest. The atmosphere inside is so humid and warm that breathing feels noticeably different, almost as if you are entering a natural sauna.
