Quick facts: The museum holds the single largest collection of Nuragic bronzes anywhere on Earth, with over 500 figurines from the mysterious Bronze Age civilization. Its prized exhibit is the Giant of Mont'e Prama, a 2.5-meter-tall stone warrior carved around 1000 BC and discovered by local farmers in 1974.
Highlights: Step into the third-floor hall and you'll find yourself surrounded by the towering, hollow-eyed stone giants of Mont'e Prama, the only monumental statues ever created by the Nuragic civilization. Each warrior wears a horned helmet and carries a round shield, standing in silence for nearly 3,000 years before being pieced back together from over 5,000 fragments.
