From April to November, in the dry season. From June to September the temperatures are more pleasant, and the trails are dry and safer for hiking.

About
Quick facts: The park covers 157,000 hectares of limestone rock formations shaped by underground rivers over millions of years. Eleven species of lemurs live here, including the rare white lemur, which you can find only in this area.
Highlights: In the park there are conical limestone needles up to 120 meters high, between which hang suspension bridges that sway as much as 60 meters above the ground. Beneath the surface hides a network of caves and underground rivers where the blind fish Typhleotris madagascariensis lives.
Insider tips
- Be sure to wear hiking boots with good support, as the rocks are sharp and slippery.
- The best photos are taken at sunset, when the shadows hit the dramatic rock formations.
- To visit both parts of the park (Grand and Petit Tsingy), set aside two full days.
- Bring at least 3 liters of water per person, as there is no opportunity to buy anything in the park.
