Highlights: The maze's central pavilion is guarded by a marble Eros, but look down on a windless noon and the sculpture's reflection stretches across the water channel like a perfect mirror of the sky. Film crews shot chase scenes for "Perfume: The Story of a Murderer" in these cypress passages, and you can trace the same shadowy corners where the movie's pursuit unfolds.

- Wear flat shoes, since the flagstone stairs and gravel paths turn slippery after rain.
- The maze exit is unmarked, so rehearse the turn pattern as you go or grab a route map at the entry kiosk.
