Quick facts: Stretching over three kilometers, this stretch of sand faces east toward the Cham Islands with waves gentle enough for swimmers of all abilities. Wooden fishing boats still launch at dawn each morning, while beachfront cafes serve fresh coconut coffee made from coconuts grown just a few kilometers inland.
Highlights: Unlike the party strip further south, this beach has kept its low-key fishing village soul, with families selling grilled seafood directly from their boats at sunset. The water stays shallow for nearly 50 meters out, making it feel like one giant, warm wading pool where kids splash while parents sip sugarcane juice under palm-thatch umbrellas.

- Head to the northern end near the fishing boats for the most authentic, least crowded stretch of sand.
- Rent a surfboard or boogie board from one of the expat-run shops between May and September when waves pick up.
- Skip the main entrance path and walk 100 meters north past the seafood shacks for cleaner, quieter spots.
- Bring reef-safe sunscreen as the water stays shallow for dozens of meters and you will burn faster than you expect.
