Getting around

For your first day, rent a car in Dublin and drive to the Cliffs of Moher (about 2.5 hours), then continue on to the Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head before returning; a car is essential for these rural stops. In Dublin on day two, walk between Trinity College, the National Museum, and St. Patrick's Cathedral, all within the historic centre, or catch the Luas green or red line for longer hops. Day three requires another rental car to reach Newgrange (50 minutes north) and the Wicklow Mountains (45 minutes south). Taxi apps Free Now, Bolt, and Uber charge roughly 1.5 EUR per kilometer. Dublin Bus and the DART serve the city if you prefer not to drive.
