クイックファクト: 溶けたマグマの外殻が急速に冷えて固まる一方で内部の流れは続き、内部が空洞で1キロメートルを超える長さのトンネルが残されました。内部の気温は地表より明らかに低く、空気は涼しく湿ったままです。

見どころ: 最も印象的なディテールは、天井から垂れ下がり、水ではなく溶岩の滴によって形成された鍾乳石のような形です。所々で天井の厚さはわずか数センチしかなく、太陽の光が細い割れ目から差し込み、暗闇の中に明るい光の筋を描きます。
