見どころ: 薄暗い空間に足を踏み入れると、6世紀のユスティニアヌス1世の時代に築かれた336本の大理石柱が12列×28列に並び、水面に揺れる柱の反射が鏡のように幽玄な世界を作っているよ。南西の隅にあるメデューサの頭像は一つが逆さま、もう一つが横向きに土台に使われていて、その不気味な微笑と足元の冷たい湿気、ぽつぽつ落ちる水滴の音が混ざり合って心に残るんだ。
