Vrhunci: Psst, poleg monumentalnih šestih minaretov najbolj zadene notranjost: več kot 20.000 ročno poslikanih iznikskih keramičnih ploščic, med katerimi je več kot 50 različnih tulipanskih motivov, ki v jutranjem svetlu zasijejo v nežno modrih odtenkih. Pripovedujejo, da je sultan zahteval šest minaretov in s tem sprožil spor, zaradi katerega so v Meki kasneje dodali sedmi minaret; še bolj nenavadno je, kako odmeva klic k molitvi, ko stojiš pod glavno kupolo.
