Rychlá fakta: V areálu chrámu o rozloze 37 000 metrů čtverečních se nachází „Stéla tří dokonalostí", jejíž text napsal kancléř z dynastie Tchang Pej Tu a kaligraficky ji vyvedl Liou Kung-čcho. Více než 2000 letitých cypřišů obklopuje síně s červenými zdmi a šedými taškami. O jednom z cypřišů se traduje, že jej vlastnoručně zasadil Ču-ke Liang, a jeho stáří přesahuje 1700 let.

Zajímavosti: Na okapu hlavní síně stojí 47 terakotových figurek z období Tří království a každá má jiný výraz tváře. Za deště se na glazuře objevuje zelenomodrý lesk. Ještě pozoruhodnější je, že se vůně santalového dřeva stoupající z kadidelnice mísí se svěží vůní letitých cypřišů a celý dvůr zahaluje pocit ticha, který jako by pronikl tisíciletími.

After entering through the main gate, head left first to avoid the crowds heading straight for the main hall.
The best spot for photos is along the corridor of the civil and military galleries. The side light around 3 p.m. brings out the texture of the red walls and ancient cypress trees.
No need to spend money on a tour guide. Just scan the QR code at the entrance and rent an electronic audio guide for 10 RMB, which is more than enough.
The "Three Perfections Stele" is in the exhibition hall on the right after entering the gate. Many people rush past and miss it, so be sure to stop and take a look at the inscription.
