Rychlá fakta: Lidové náměstí v Korle má rozlohu přibližně 120 000 metrů čtverečních, zeleň pokrývá přes 60 procent plochy a je hlavním centrem každodenního odpočinku místních obyvatel. Obří socha "Vzlet" uprostřed náměstí je vysoká 18 metrů a symbolizuje prudký rozvoj tohoto ropného města.
Zajímavosti: Každý den v osm hodin večer tančí hudební fontána na náměstí v rytmu melodie "Korlanská noc", přičemž vodní sloupec dosahuje výšky až 25 metrů. O víkendových večerech je k vidění, jak stovky obyvatel ujgurské a chanské národnosti společně tančí na náměstí, kroky obou kultur se na stejném prostranství harmonicky prolínají.
