Rychlá fakta: Červené skalní těleso působí, jako by bylo spáleno ohněm. Nejužší místo soutěsky je tak úzké, že jím projde jen člověk otočený bokem. Kdysi tudy vedla důležitá cesta Hedvábné stezky a na skalních stěnách se dodnes dochovaly buddhistické jeskynní malby staré tisíc let.
Zajímavosti: Když vstoupíte do hlubin soutěsky, rudé skalní stěny tyčící se stovky metrů nad vámi působí, jako by je rozťala obří sekera. Polední slunce proniká úzkým pruhem oblohy a barví celou soutěsku do planoucí zlatočervené. Nejmohutnějším dojmem působí přirozeně vzniklá skalní "Velká socha Buddhy" na konci soutěsky, vysoká přes 200 metrů s výraznými obrysy. Místní pastevci ji po generace uctívají jako vtělení boha.

- After entering the canyon, first take the branch path on the right.
- It has fewer visitors and richer rock colors.
- Bring a pair of non-slip shoes. Some sections of the canyon have stream water flowing through, and the rocks are very slippery.
- The best photo spot is at the end of the "One Line Sky" section. Stand on the stone steps and shoot against the light to capture the effect of beams of light piercing through the canyon.
- Don't just stick to the main path. Turn into the small side trails on both sides, where ancient murals undiscovered by others may be hidden on the rock walls in those unmanned areas.
