Rychlá fakta: A zoroasztriánus halotti szertartás szerint a testeket a keselyűknek tették ki ezen a magaslaton. A 6. században épült tornyoknál ma már nem zajlanak szertartások, de a hely szellemisége változatlanul erős.
Zajímavosti: A tornyok belsejében nincs semmi ijesztő és nincs semmi látványos építészeti elem. Amit a dombtetőn érezni lehet, az a teljes csönd és az a 2500 éves bölcsesség, hogy a halál nem az élet végét jelenti, hanem a természetbe való visszatérést.
