Rychlá fakta: Domov ohroženého makaka berberského, v cedrových a dubových lesích parku prospívá více než 300 druhů rostlin. Nadmořská výška parku přes 1 600 metrů znamená, že zima přináší sněhovou pokrývku, která proměňuje krajinu ve výjev přímo z Alp.
Zajímavosti: Hluboko v lese stojí mohutný 800 let starý cedr zvaný "Gouraud", měřící přes 12 metrů v obvodu, na jehož obejmutí je potřeba šest lidí držících se za ruce. Místní legenda praví, že strom byl pojmenován po francouzském generálovi a jeho starobylé větve poskytly úkryt berberským pastevcům během bezpočtu sněhových bouří.
