Rychlá fakta: Stěny tohoto kláštera stále uchovávají 900 fragmentů původních nástěnných maleb z 19. století, včetně vzácné freskové techniky kombinující olejovou barvu a temperu. Jeho dva hlavní zvony váží 520 kg a 1 200 kg a stále se rozeznívají každé ráno v 6:00.
Zajímavosti: Za hlavním oltářem se skrývá malá podzemní kaple přístupná pouze tajnými dveřmi za ikonostasem. Stěny kaple jsou pokryty tisíci mozaikovými střípky vyrobenými ručně mnichy, kteří přežili druhou světovou válku. Žádné dva střípky nejsou stejného tvaru.
