Schnelle Fakten: Die markante Pyramidenspitze ragt 2.628 Meter empor und zieht Kletterer aus aller Welt an ihre Nordwand mit Klettersteig. Über 500.000 Menschen fahren jedes Jahr mit der Alpspitzbahn, um Panoramawege und das imposante Gipfelkreuz zu erreichen.
Highlights: Das Gipfelkreuz wurde ursprünglich 1854 errichtet und ist aufgrund von Blitzeinschlägen und Lawinen sechsmal ersetzt worden, das aktuelle wiegt 250 Kilogramm. Von oben aus sind an einem klaren Tag vier Länder zu sehen: Deutschland, Österreich, Italien und die Schweiz.
