Schnelle Fakten: Die Sikh-Tradition besagt, dass Baba Bakala der Ort ist, an dem Guru Tegh Bahadur neun Jahre in tiefer Meditation verbrachte, bevor er als neunter Sikh-Guru identifiziert wurde. Das zentrale Heiligtum des Gurudwara enthält noch den genauen Brunnen, aus dem er täglich Wasser schöpfte, der heute als hochheilig gilt.
Highlights: Anders als die meisten Gurudwaras umgibt dieser einen über 300 Jahre alten Brunnen, den Guru Tegh Bahadur für seine täglichen Waschungen nutzte. Man kann noch das originale Mauerwerk und die schmale Treppe sehen, die zum Wasser hinunterführt, wo Gläubige still in Meditation sitzen, genau wie er es einst tat.
