Schnelle Fakten: Verteilt auf 110 Hektar in den Ausläufern der Alborz-Berge enthält diese weitläufige königliche Anlage 18 separate Paläste und Museen. Highlights: Der Kristalllüster des Weißen Palastes, der über eine Tonne wiegt und aus 3.000 Stücken böhmischen Kristalls gefertigt ist, hängt noch immer im ehemaligen königlichen Empfangssaal. Sie können durch das erhaltene Interieur des Grünen Palastes aus den 1970er Jahren gehen und genau die Stelle sehen, an der ein zwölfjähriger Junge namens Reza Pahlavi sein Schlafzimmer hatte, komplett mit seiner Comicsammlung, die noch immer im Regal steht.
