Schnelle Fakten: Rund 30 Millionen Kubikmeter Wasser stauen sich hinter einem Erddamm, der einen großen Teil von Pristinas Leitungswasserversorgung speist. Ein Ring aus Eichen- und Buchenwald reicht bis ans Ufer, wo Schwimmer und Angler in denselben kühlen Tiefen auf Karpfen und Welse Jagd machen.
Highlights: Wenn der Wasserspiegel jeden Spätsommer sinkt, tauchen alte Eichenstümpfe wie krumme Finger auf und zeichnen die Umrisse des Tals nach, das überflutet wurde, als der Damm gebaut wurde. Schwimmt man dann hinaus, kann man die Spitzen dieser ertrunkenen Bäume streifen, ein seltsames Gefühl, das man in keinem Strandresort erlebt.
