Schnelle Fakten: König Carol I. erbaute diese 36 Meter hohe Moschee 1910 für die muslimische Gemeinschaft Rumäniens. Vom Turm aus bietet sich ein Blick über die gesamte Altstadt von Constanța und das Schwarze Meer.

Highlights: Wenn man mittags im Inneren der Moschee steht, fällt das Sonnenlicht durch 24 farbige Buntglasfenster genau auf die Gebetsnische. Die Keramikfliesenmuster wiederholen die der Sultan-Ahmed-Moschee in Istanbul, denn sie wurden von denselben Meistern gefertigt.
