Schnelle Fakten: Der Komplex wurde zum Gedenken an 130 Jahre Transsibirische Eisenbahn erbaut und präsentiert authentische sibirische Holzbaukunst des 19. Jahrhunderts. Jedes Gebäude hier wurde aus verschiedenen Teilen der Region Irkutsk versetzt und von Hand restauriert.
Highlights: In einer der Ecken steht ein kleines Haus, das einst politischen polnischen Exilanten als Wohnstätte diente, die im 19. Jahrhundert nach Sibirien verbannt wurden. Seine Wände tragen noch immer ihre handschriftlichen Kritzeleien auf Polnisch, sodass man das Leid und die Hoffnung direkt spüren kann, die hinter den Holzbrettern zurückgeblieben sind.
