Schnelle Fakten: Schon von der Straße aus wirkt die wellenförmige Fassade wie eine lebendige Skulptur, die das Sonnenlicht in sanften, fast flüssigen Reflexen bricht. Auf dem Dach erwarten dich surreal wirkende Schornsteine, die wie futuristische Wächter aussehen und einen überraschend guten Blick über die Dächer bieten.
Highlights: Antoni Gaudí entwarf das Gebäude von 1906 bis 1912, deswegen fehlen fast überall gerade Linien und die Fassade wirkt wie fließender Sandstein unter der Hand. Auf dem Dach reihen sich über 30 skulpturale Schornsteine und Belüftungskörper, die wie versammelte Kriegerhelme aussehen und bei Sonnenschein warme Terrakotta-Töne annehmen.

4.0Brought the kids at midday, steady crowds but manageable. The colors wowed them, book a timed slot and skip extras if you are on a budget.
Quick 45 minute stop on a walking route. The facade alone is magical, the interior felt small for the ticket price so mixed feelings overall.
Late afternoon visit, place was crowded and slow to move. Audioguide clarified a lot but the extra multimedia room felt overpriced at 8€.
Arrived at 9:00 and walked straight in, very few people. Rooftop views are brilliant, standard ticket at about 30€ was worth it.
