Highlights: Die riesige Glocke im Uhrturm wiegt stolze 13,7 Tonnen und erzeugt einen unverwechselbaren tiefen Klang, der seit 1859 jede Stunde läutet. Die Zifferblätter der Uhr sind in einem eisernen Rahmen eingelassen, der die Größe eines großen Esstisches hat. Jedes der vier Zifferblätter misst 7 Meter im Durchmesser. Einer Tradition zufolge werden die Uhrzeiger durch das Anschlagen des Mechanismus mit alten britischen Pennys justiert, um die genaue Zeit zu bewahren.
