Schnelle Fakten: Každý večer se most rozzáří střídavě v sedmi barvách, což denně přiláká přes 10 tisíc návštěvníků na procházku po jeho 402 metrech. Pod jeho oblouky proplouvají desítky výletních lodí, které nabízejí výhled na osvětlené město z řeky Hương.
Highlights: Během vietnamské války byl most dvakrát vybombardován a pokaždé ho místní obyvatelé vlastníma rukama znovu postavili z původních materiálů vytažených z řeky. V noci se na mostě scházejí mladé páry, aby si za svitu barevných světel daly první polibek - místní tomu říkají „most zamilovaných“.

- Instead of walking on the bridge, sit in the tea house on the left bank. From there you have the whole bridge in perspective and the crowds are not pushing you.
- Avoid Saturday evenings, when the bridge is most crowded with locals and tourists.
- Take a light jacket even in summer. In the evening a pleasant cool wind blows from the river.
