Highlights: Climbing the last stretch involves roughly 600 uneven stone steps from the upper station, each breath tasting thinner and colder as you push through to a summit often wrapped in wind-whipped prayer scarves. A short, glass-windowed cable car ride of about 15 minutes flips valley rice terraces into a mosaic below, then the sudden silence at the summit makes the ringing of temple bells and the scent of incense feel startlingly close.

- Wear warm layers and sturdy shoes, summit temperatures and wind can be much colder than Sapa town.

4.3Der Sonnenaufgang um 5:30 war magisch und fast leer. Pagodenbesuch war gratis, die Seilbahn teuer, aber der Sonnenaufgang rechtfertigte es.
Machte die 10 km Wanderung, startete um 5 Uhr, steil aber ruhig bis zum Mittag, als die Massen kamen. Führergebühr erschien teuer: 400k VND.
Bin um 6:30 angekommen, fast keine Warteschlange für die Seilbahn, die rund 700k VND kostete. Die Aussicht vom Gipfel lohnte sich, später wurden die Schlangen lang.
Arrived 9am with kids, 45 minute cable car wait and steep stairs at the top. Ticket was about 700k VND each but summit view made it worth it.
