About
Quick facts: The reserve protects more than 500 species of plants and animals, including endangered species. It contains unique rock formations and diverse habitats across nearly 240 hectares.
Highlights: Within the reserve is an impressive rock tower 45 meters high, called the "Forest Guardian" by locals. Here you can hear rare bird songs that are hard to find elsewhere in the country.
Insider tips
- Wear comfortable hiking shoes because of the rocky paths and moderate climbs.
- Photography is recommended in morning light, when the sun illuminates the rock formations from the side.
- Avoid weekends in the hot months to avoid overcrowded paths.
- Bring enough water and a small snack; there are no buffets or vending machines in the area.
