Datos rápidos: El malecón de madera se extiende más de 400 metros sobre la bahía, y debajo de él el nivel del agua puede subir varios metros durante la marea alta. Al final se alza una manada de ovejas de bronce, ante la que cada día se fotografían cientos de personas, mientras bajo los pies crujen las viejas tablas.
Destacados: Durante la marea baja, por entre las juntas de las tablas se puede ver cómo los afilados pilotes de madera están clavados en el lodo y cómo sobre ellos se posan estrellas de mar y caracoles. Lo más curioso es que sobre los pilotes no solo se levanta el malecón, sino también casas residenciales de colores, cuyos dueños todavía pescan directamente desde sus ventanas.
