Korte feiten: Het is een van de weinige houten kerken in Litouwen die in hun gotische vorm bewaard zijn gebleven, met een unieke klokkentoren van 27 meter hoog die uitkijkt over het Galvėmeer. In de kerk wordt een zeldzame kopie van de Madonna van Trakai bewaard, die door de lokale gelovigen als wonderbaarlijk wordt beschouwd.
