Rychlá fakta: Desítky tisíc let sopečného popela a eroze vytvarovaly ikonické skalní útvary zde, některé tyčící se přes 15 metrů. Jejich nezaměnitelné falické tvary daly údolí jeho rozpustilé jméno a lákají zvědavé turisty z celého světa.
Zajímavosti: Při východu slunce létají desítky horkovzdušných balónů přímo nad těmito tyčícími se skalními útvary a vytvářejí surrealistickou siluetu proti zlaté obloze. Místní průvodci říkají, že nejlépe střeženým tajemstvím je skrytý jeskynní kostel na severním hřebeni s vybledlými freskami z 10. století, které většina návštěvníků mine.

- Wear sturdy hiking shoes, the trail has loose gravel and steep sections that get slippery after rain.
- Skip the main viewpoint at the entrance and walk 10 minutes deeper into the valley for quieter, taller formations with no crowds in your photos.
- Bring a flashlight if hiking before sunrise, the trail has no lighting and sections are shaded even after dawn.
- The trail loops for about 4 km total, allow enough time to walk back uphill on the return leg.
