Schnelle Fakten: Die hölzerne Uferpromenade erstreckt sich über mehr als 400 Meter über der Bucht, und unter ihr kann der Wasserstand bei Flut um mehrere Meter steigen. Am Ende ragt eine bronzene Schafherde empor, vor der sich täglich Hunderte Menschen fotografieren, während unter den Füßen alte Bretter knarren.
Highlights: Bei Ebbe kann man durch die Spalten der Bretter erkennen, wie spitze Holzpfähle in den Schlamm getrieben sind und wie sich darauf Seesterne und Schnecken festgesetzt haben. Das Interessanteste ist, dass hier nicht nur die Promenade auf Pfählen steht, sondern auch bunte Wohnhäuser, deren Bewohner immer noch direkt aus ihren Fenstern fischen.
