Schnelle Fakten: Mit einer Breite von 25 Metern und einer Länge von über 300 Metern ist dieser Kiesstrand einer der geräumigsten an der istrischen Küste. Jährlich lockt er über 150.000 Besucher an, die wegen des kristallklaren Wassers und des natürlichen Schattens des Kiefernwaldes kommen, der sich fast bis ans Wasser erstreckt.
Highlights: Die Besonderheit dieses Strandes liegt in seinem Fischererbe: Die örtlichen Fischer ziehen auch heute noch ihre kleinen Boote genau an der Stelle auf den Kies, an der es schon ihre Urgroßväter taten. Der Duft von Kiefernharz vermischt mit der salzigen Luft schafft ein einzigartiges Aroma, das man an keinem anderen Strand Istriens finden wird.

- It is in the shade of pines for almost the entire day, so bring a lower factor sunscreen than you would bring to open beaches.
