Highlights: Die namensgebenden Kiefern des Reservats, die Torrey-Kiefern, überleben mit nur 25 Zentimetern Regen pro Jahr, indem sie ihre Wurzeln 30 Meter tief durch Sandstein treiben, um Grundwasser zu erreichen. Ein Baum in der Nähe des Razor-Point-Wanderwegs wird auf über 150 Jahre geschätzt und ist durch die unerbittlichen Meereswinde in eine bonsaiartige Form gedreht.
